Love love love the vibe of this place! Went this summer with friends, and it's always bustling, but the service is fast considering. They also support the local arts scene, which is definitely a plus.

Great food and service! Usually pretty empty in the afternoons so a good place to work!

Lovely coffee shop! Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and extremely quick service... Latté was spot on; avocado toast with 2 (perfectly) poached eggs was yummy! Highly recommended!

Ate there every day I was visiting in PEI - the food is that good! And the coffee is phenomenal took 5lbs home with me. It’s all I’ll drink now. I’ll never have a sip of water again in my life.

Worth every penny if you appreciate good coffee. The athmosphere is also pretty nice and unique. If you sit by one of the walls, you can find notes people stuck inside the walls. I found clues for a treasure hunt between the bricks once ;)

We come here often, 1-2x per week. It’s quite busy on weekends, especially in the winter when folks come in for a nice warm coffee and treats. All the baked goods are excellent! Breakfast is really nice with a great variety. Huevos Rancheros and avocado toast both rock. The coffee is locally roasted and always fresh. We love this place. Hip music and and a warm vibe. Close to other eateries and places downtown. free WiFi... and the serve regional maritime brews and drinks as well.

They didn’t use artificial flavouring in my salted caramel latte, which is quite a rare find. I didn’t know coffee could be this good. There is no going back to artificial flavouring. I first found this awesome option at “Jill's Chocolates & Café” in Iona, Cape Breton.

went here and was so amazed! it is two stories and looks great for studying. food we ordered was soooo good! first place im coming next time I come to pei! you need to stop here if coming to the island.

Coffee pretty good by Canadian standards - they clearly make an effort to produce good coffee. The food we tried was great and reasonably priced although there are not many meal options for children.

Best breakfast in Charlottetown! Delicious hot and cold options, great coffee and tea selection. The desserts are also scrumptious! You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I wish all coffee shops came with their own bakery attached. This place is a very special find. We loved it so much we went back every day of our vacation on PEI.

Crowdy, yet pretty cool place to stop by. Coffee is pleasant. The pork beans on toast was salty for a salty man and surprisingly spicy. Would like to try their salads.

The coffee is not my style. The cappuccino was so sour, I prefer my coffee bitter. The burrito with added bacon was delish.

I was here on the island for vacation debating moving out here, and then I ate the breakfast burrito from Receiver Coffee Co. Holy guacamole Batman - in that moment I knew I would be back to the island permanently. Kudos to whoever invented that masterpiece - It was everything I never knew I needed. Also very reasonably priced here!

I went for a coffee yesderday and a piece of cake which was very stale.When i told thé young man serving me he was not happy. What is the problème ??I felt really bad. He should be nicer with older ladies with a européen accent.I do speak english.Good day.

Husband and I stopped here for coffee and breakfast during our trip to the east coast - you HAVE to try the breakfast sandwich! Best I’ve ever had! Coffee was delicious too!

Great spot for relaxing and enjoy the morning especially at a rainy day! Ordered the 'budget' for breakfast which taste good and their coffee was awesome as well! Highly recommend to everyone

We decided to stop in here for a coffee during a walk in downtown Charlottetown and ended up having multiple coffees and food. The staff here are insanely friendly and were sure to accommodate me with my food allergy. Coffee is made to order and delicious! We also ate their Nachos, Yogurt Parfait, and Gumbo and it was all to die for! I will be going out of my way next time I am on the Island just to stop back in for a drink and snacks!

Even in the warm summer weather, the coffee was refreshing and made the visit that much better.

Coffee was really good. Sandwich was done pretty good. Although there was a piece of stone in it that chipped part of tooth.

This review is for the water street location. I have been there about 5 times and have never had a fully pleasant experience. I wish I had what the positive reviewers experienced... They seriously need to up their customer service training. Recently moved from NYC and been and done this style of cafes but you cannot treat your customers with poor attitudes. There's a clear difference between "being confident and classy" to "being arrogant and snobby". I am otherwise supportive of all local businesses but please improve Water St shop.

You would be amazed. The coffee was one of the best I've had. Breakfast menu was professional and baked apple pekan with french toast was simply amazing.

Latte was solid but the receiver breakfast is expensive and below average. I had the sausage and it was dried out. If you absolutely have to order this maybe the ham?

Very trendy café with vegetarian and vegan delicious options on the menu. Service is superb and we were there at lunch rush time. Nonetheless it felt like we were the only customers in the place. Thanks to the whole team!

Comfortable seating and good wifi but I found the service to be rather brisk. That's fair because they are really busy. The coffee was tasty and lots of food options too.

The coffee is delicious, It has a smooth, low acid and bold taste. its comforting - like a warm hug. The owners are the REAL deal when it comes to caring about their customers. I had a problem with a coffee delivery, one call and Chris, the owner, fixed the problem asap...This place is awesome.
